about

“Subliminalism” is minimal abstract jazz club art, with all instrumental arrangements by Andrew. Along with the digital instruments Andrew plays clarinet as he did in San Francisco night clubs in 1981 (and performs the spoken words). Rick assisted in the full realization of the piece. The title is a blend of “subliminal” and “minimalism.”

Lyrics:

Seek the sublime
the subliminal

seek the sublime
the subliminal
minimal

look under your pillow
to find the rare gift

take a figurative leap
in a waking sleep

go from something to nothing

seek the sublime
the subliminal
minimal
